jill’s farmhouse removable + house tour – simple floor plan

Imagine that you have a farmhouse remodel project and would like to include some farmhouse plans. You’re looking for traditional home plans and want an easy floor plan. A floor plan with a large porch is an important part of the remodel.

At the same time, you’d like your home to include some simple floor plans so that they are easy to maintain later on. You want bedroom layout with good separation between people who are living together. So how can you find floor plans that fit all these parameters?

Remodeling the foyer

A frame house plans are becoming increasingly popular and it’s no wonder, they look amazing! A frame homes offer the ultimate in open and modern living. To further the feeling of openness, many a frame house plans include large windows throughout the home. When you want to feel like you are one with nature, a frame home plans may be just what you need.

A frame homes are particularly suited for natural or rustic surroundings. In addition to their modern feel, many a frame house plans include wraparound porches, which can double as outdoor living spaces or extra storage. With their steep roofs and large windows, a frame house plans allow for dramatic views from multiple angles of the home.

By definition, an a frame house is a triangular structure with steeply pitched roofs that meet at the top of the home. There are several reasons why a frame house plans are so popular; they’re simple to build, easy to maintain and provide great opportunities for creative architecture. If you have always wanted to live in an a shape mountain cabin, an a-frame may be just what you need!

Replacing the stone fireplace

If you’ve been thinking about replacing the stone fireplace in your frame house, we’re here to tell you that it’s a great idea!

The stone fireplace is a signature feature of the A-frame home, and while they’re nice to look at and they provide great atmosphere, they’re also energy inefficient. Replacing your stone fireplace with a modern insert can save you thousands of dollars over the lifespan of the unit and significantly reduce your carbon footprint.

So when you’re considering whether or not to replace that fireplace, think about some of these key advantages:

  1. Save money on heating bills by preventing warm air from escaping up the chimney.
  2. Improve indoor air quality by reducing smoke and other pollutants.
  3. Keep your family safe from fires.
  4. Reduce your carbon footprint by burning cleaner fuels like natural gas and propane.

Changing up the paint colors throughout the home

Looking to change up the paint colors throughout your home? We’ve got you covered!

Follow these four tips to help you select the best paint color and brand while also giving your walls a fresh new look.

1. Determine rooms that need the most attention

If you are looking to sell your home or just want to freshen up a room, consider which rooms need the most attention.

This can be done by observing how much wear and tear each room gets on a daily basis as well as seeing which rooms have already been painted and re-painted over the years.

As a general rule, kitchens and bathrooms tend to need more frequent paint touch-ups since they are used multiple times per day and often show signs of age faster than other rooms in the house.

2. Consider what’s changing in your life

Sometimes we want to change our surroundings because our life is changing for the better. If you recently got a new pet, it may be time to paint both their room as well as your living space to make them feel at home.

Maybe you just got married and want to redecorate together with your new spouse – now is an excellent time to change up some of the colors in your home!

Painting the kitchen cabinets

Painting the kitchen cabinets is a great way to refresh your kitchen and re-energize your entire home. However, there are many important steps in the process that must be done correctly in order to achieve the best results. Here’s our guide for helping you get started:

  1. Clean your cabinets thoroughly with soap and water or an appropriate cleaning solution to remove any lingering dirt, grease, or oils.
  2. Sand cabinets to remove gloss from factory finish and roughen up surface.
  3. Use primer with oil-based paint or paint designed for metal on metal surfaces if necessary.
  4. Remove doors and hardware if possible (to allow easier access)
  5. Apply paint in even strokes in the direction of the wood grain, using multiple coats as necessary (usually 2-3 coats will be sufficient).
  6. Reattach doors and hardware when dry, and enjoy!

Opening up the wall between the kitchen and dining room

I know we’ve been talking about opening up the wall between the kitchen and dining room for a while now, but I think it’s time to finally make it happen.

Sure, it’s a big project, but I think it’ll be worth it in the long run. We can add more light to the kitchen and really open up everything.

The first thing we need to do is see if there are any walls or support beams that we’ll need to maintain in order to keep the house structurally sound. Once we’ve figured that out, we’ll be able to start thinking about removing those walls only where necessary.

After that, we’ll need to decide whether or not we want to use drywall or wood paneling for the walls and ceiling of the living room.

Finally, if we’re going to remove any other walls as well, then we have some electrical work that needs doing! We should run new wires from the breaker box in order to handle all of our power needs now (and hopefully into the future). If we don’t do this, then our electrical system could overload at any time! It’s best not to risk it.

We want to tell you all about some good news. It’s been a while since we’ve had some, hasn’t it? We’re sorry. But we’re getting off topic, so let’s get back on track. A frame houses are really trending right now. In fact, they’re one of the most popular home styles in 2020.

A frame houses are a type of house with a triangular structure that forms an A shape when viewed from the front or the back. This design has several benefits, including making them look like a cabin—which is great if you love cabin style homes—and allowing for impressive views due to their large windows and low-to-the-ground placement. They also tend to be build at high elevations, which means they have gorgeous views of mountains or other natural scenery around them!
